Helio dropped their unlimited plan from $145/month to $99/month today. The next lower plan - $100/month - get's you 1500 minutes and unlimited datahuh? Sign of a struggling MVNO? I'd say yes. This will surely help them garner some subscribers, but it's like putting a bandaid on a severed leg. A good deal? Sure if you wanna sign up for a supposedly financially failing MVNO that's so far in the red that it can't see black.

Helio sales has broken through the ceiling and Helio is expanding quickly with locations opening up nationwide. We are one of their leading dealers at (www.heliopromo.com) and sales are up 30% month over month. To give you a comparison Sprint, Verizon and ATT all have MOM growth that is under 10%. If Helio is struggling then Sprint and Verizon is dead on water.
