So this is 'no top of the line' home theater receiver, but at $191.99 shipped, how can you go wrong?!  You'll have to go 'black' in order to receive this price, but this should probably satisfy 90% of folks.  Enjoy 7.1 channel Dolby Digital and 3 HDMI inputs for all your hi-def needs (Xbox 360, Bluray, etc).  Output is 75 watts per channel at 8 ohms and if you opt for the Onkyo DS-A2x iPod dock, you'll have complete iPod integration.

ROBOTIC WOMEN IS COMPLETE FAKE

Some goofballs posted this video on Youtube.  The woman is supposed to be a robot featuring advanced technologies.  It's some what believable until they interview the English speaking kid and then cut to the interview sans headshot and encrypted voice.  Some of the voice overs soundbits are kinda funny, but pretty lame overall.  The robot is a real woman covered in some sort of plastic makeupat least that's my guess.

We are living in a time where the word security means a lot more than it use to. Homeland security, Airport security, and Internet security, all provide more jobs than they did 10 years ago. Not to take away any of those jobs but to aid in preventive maintenance, comes the Databreaker. The Databreaker was designed to work with laptops and external monitors to disrupt the internet connection when the computer is idle, therefore making one’s PC more secure and safe from hackers and the like.

How does it work?
The Databreaker is basically just another part of your signal chain, from your internet connection to your computer. One end plugs into your wall, while the other end accepts your incoming and outgoing signal from your modem. It also has a manual override switch so you can kill your connection whenever you want. The Databreaker senses when the monitor or laptop goes to sleep and disrupts the connection from there. To visually signify what is happening with your connection there is a green and red light on the Databreaker to show if the connection is going through or not. I tested it with an Apple power book, but it only worked with the manual override switch. The switch worked very affectively and took virtually no time at all to break and reestablish the connection. Honestly, I couldn’t review this product to the fullest because it only works in certain scenarios, which was disappointing to say the least.

What doesn’t it do?
The Databreaker doesn’t support any wireless scenario and doesn’t work with a router either. It also doesn’t work with my iMac G5. It only works with desktops that have external monitors and laptops with wired and a direct connection with the modem.

Overall??
The Databreaker is a worthy addition to your security precautions only if your scenario meets one of the aforementioned set ups. I have encountered internet fraud in my day, and if I had the right set up I would use it for sure as it only costs $30. However, it is somewhat limiting, given the broad range of today’s wireless everything.

TRANSFORMING WALLPAPER, JUST ADD HEAT

I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain this one in great detail as this is clearly a case of 'a picture is worth a 1,000 words' (BTW I don't believe in 10,000 words).  Using a heat sensitive paint, the imagery on the wall changes.  This is very much like those cups and t-shirts that change with the addition of heat.

A TRUCK THAT RUNS ON COFFEE

Is this the perfect truck for that early morning commute - you know, the whole 'wake me up' aroma thing that Folgers instituted? The Cafe Racer is a 1975 GMC pickup that burns used coffee to make it go. According to Gas2 the engine used to burn the coffee can burn other types of fuels, such as wood chips, old tires (smog issue I'd think), and other trash. I wonder if certain types of coffee works better, just like in humans except that's caffeine related.

THE WORLD'S SMALLEST HELICOPTER: GEN H-4

If you're like me you've had that itch at one time or another to hover high in the high sky.  If you've got $60,000 that itch can now be scratched.  Japanese inventor Gennai Yanagisawa has built a 165-lb helicopter, which might be the world's smallest.  It's small in foot print too since it doesn't utilize a rear rotator blade, and instead opts for a dual blade setup which counters the spinning effect.  The first demonstration flight will occur May 25th in Vinci, Italy to pay homage to da Vinci.

Personally, I like it when my cereal gets a little soggy. Eating it at 100% crunch can be a little challenging and prevents me from hearing my Saturday morning cartoons. But, if you like it crunchy and can't stand cereal soup, then the Eatmecrunchy Bowl could be the answer. It's actually pretty silly. There's two layers to the bowl. The bottom layer holds the milk and covers just 70% of the bowls surface. So you see, 30% of the cereal falls into the milk section thus preventing soggy cereal, unless you're a super slow eater.
